SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP
THE JERUSALEM GREAT SYNAGOUE
Dear Friends,
For the past 28 years since its dedication, The Jerusalem Great Synagogue has served Jerusalem, Israel and the world as a spiritual Center, a place of Torah study, chessed and as a venue for significant, special events attended by large audiences. As the only Synagogue in Israel with a world renowned Cantor and Choir that officiate regularly throughout the year, it has faithfully preserved the sacred liturgical heritage of pre-War European Jewish communities. In addition to our local congregants, the Jerusalem Great Synagogue receives tens of thousands of visitors each year. They come, not only for Shabbat or Holiday services but also for tours during the week –meaningful learning experiences about Judaism and the role of the synagogue in Jewish life.
You now have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with The Jerusalem Great Synagogue and to join a wonderful group of people who recognize the important contribution of The Jerusalem Great Synagogue to the spiritual life of the Jewish people. We ask you to become a Supporting Member of The Jerusalem Great Synagogue for 500 NIS (or $180) per year.
As supporting Members you are entitled to:
- 10% discount on seats for Rosh Hashana and/or Yom Kippur (up to 2 seats)
- 5% discount on your functions at The Jerusalem Great Synagogue (does not include the Catering Hall).
- Membership Certificate suitable for framing
- Listing in an annual "Journal of Appreciation" to be distributed at our Yom Haatzmaut Dinner.
But even more significant, you will have the satisfaction of being part of The Jerusalem Great Synagogue Family and thus, an integral part of the "Synagogue of the World." We hope you will accept our invitation and we look forward to your partnering with us as Supporting Members.
