Dear congregants and friends.

In preparation to Leil Yom Haazmaut festive services in The Jerusalem Great Synagogue, please be advised of the following.

1 Services will take place on Wednesday evening, 2nd Iyar, 5781, April 14th, 2021 at 7:00pm under the auspices of

The Rishon Lezion, Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Shlita and
The Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi David Lau Shlita

 Cantor Avraham Kirshenbaum will officiate
accompanied by The Jerusalem Great Synagogue Choir conducted by Elli Jaffe

2 Entrance to the synagogue will be limited to 700 worshippers. Members and those of you who contributed to the synagogue before Pesach will have priority in entering the synagogue. Please advise the synagogue by email of your intention to join us until midday Tuesday [April 13th, 2021].

3 All of those who wish to join us, must have with them the "green pass" or a formal confirmation of double vaccination and ID. We regret not to be able to allow access to the building without these documents.

4 Children who were not vaccinated can only enter the synagogue if they have recovered from COVID-19 and carrying with them a formal confirmation of recovery. Regretfully, as in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, other children will not be able to enter the building.

5 Tourists who were vaccinated in another country will be required to present a formal written confirmation mirroring a double vaccination issued by a foreign governmental agency, and a passport.

6 While in the building, your mouth and nose must be masked.

Help us help you overcome these challenges.

Please note!

Shabbat Shlom Yerushalayim will be a special one, all under the auspices of His Honour Mr. Moshe Leon, the Mayor of Jerusalem. Details will be available on a later date.
